List: Favorite Cover Songs

Another mindless Facebook activity which provides an excellent excuse to make a music list.  The original concept was "Fifteen cover songs in fifteen minutes."  I expanded it to a leisurely stroll through my library, making snap decisions about which covers were worthy of inclusion in a representative list.  Here goes, in alphabetical order by artist.  I've written essays about a few of these; I'll try to remember to update the links if I write about any others in the future...
